In this workshop you will create a beautiful quilt top, inspired by the surroundings of the Black Chalk Winery. Taking inspiration from the sights, sounds and stories of place, we will stitch together throughout the day, translating these 'noticings' into something unique: techniques that you can use again and again in your own projects. At the end of the class you will have a quilt top to add to or finish at home, as well as instructions on how to quilt and bind your completed piece. 
All materials to create a beautiful quilt top will be provided, but you can bring a basic hand sewing kit, favourite threads and fabric scraps, plus thimbles if you use them. Suitable for beginners and those with more experience, as this class is all by hand, some level of dexterity is required.
